Gender and Team Size rules and notes for playoffs
- Offense dictates.
- Because offense dictates, there is no 'at least one woman at all times' rule.
- If the defense can't match the number of women on the offense, they play down.
- If the defense can't match the number of men on the offense, they can play women in those spots.
- If a team doesn't have 5 or more players present within 5 minutes of the starting horn, they forfeit.
:: Examples :: Situation 1: Team Orange has 4 men and 1 women while Blue has 10 men and 3 women at the starting horn. Orange on offense can play all 5 players and Blue can play 1 women and 6 men (or Blue can play 4 men and 3 women). Blue on offense can play 7 men and no women and Orange can play 4 men (or fewer) and 1 women (or fewer). Situation 2: Team Orange has 7 men and 1 women while Blue has 10 men and 3 women at the starting horn. Orange can play 7 men on O and Blue can play 7 men and no women noted as 7/0, or 6/1 (6 men and 1 women) or 5/2 or 6/3. Blue on O can play 4/3 and Orange (having only 1 women) can play 4/1 or 4/0. Blue can play 5/2 and Orange can play either 5/1 or 5/0.
